Biography
A
rt photographer who shows through his work the state of mind of the artist.
His disturbing and strong images deal with issues of the thin border between life and death, spiritually and physically.
His 2004 self portrait work of himself with blooded bandages covering his eyes was the voice of 400 art students from his school Camera Obscura. The image got real life in his real life performance at the opening of the student struggle closing down the school. Students were tided with soaked in blood bandages covering their eyes. In the air there was a sound of the Remembrance Day siren as the participants circled the display.
This work also won second place in the photo competition of the photo magazine 'Contact'.
In 2006 his controversial show in his end of the year school exhibition photographing defected fetuses dead before getting a chance to live, got him a double spread article about his life and work in the magazine 'Timeout'.
After his four years of studying and his long time experience as a photographer Dudy is now a full-time freelance photographer with his own studio in Tel Aviv.
