Yehoshua's work is the culmination of a life dedicated to painting.

Whilst being influenced by European schools, he manages to bring a modern tone to his subjects.

His brush captures the light and experience of modern Israel with sensitivity. Where beauty meets his eye, he dives into it, to touch its essence.

He emigrated to Israel as a child, and so has witnessed the entire development of the country. Currently living in Tel-Aviv-Jaffa, the subjects of his latest paintings often have an industrial edge.
